Consultancies Available - Preparation of Training Manuals on Water Use Efficiency for Agriculture and Tourism Sectors
Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is seeking to
improve the management of water in both the agriculture and tourism sectors
through the application of water use efficiency techniques. GWP-C is looking
for consultants that will develop a comprehensive and easy to understand manual
for Water Use Efficiency (WUE) in the Agriculture Sector and another on WUE in
the Tourism Sector. Proposals must be submitted no later than Monday, September 6th, 2010. Download full details of both consultancies here.
Caribbean Water Insight
Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) has released the second
issue of its newsletter Caribbean Water Insight (CWI) in which we share
information on our work and that of our partners and on issues relevant to
water resources management in the Caribbean region.
Our July 2010 issue focuses on water scarcity and the water crisis
which affected many countries in the Caribbean up to earlier this year. Download

GWP-C 2010 High Level Ministerial Forum to take place in Grenada
One of Global Water Partnership-Caribbean’s (GWP-C’s) core
activities has been its Annual High Level Session (HLS) of Ministers with responsibilities
for water management in the Caribbean. The HLS which began in 2005 is a joint
initiative of GWP-C and its partner the Caribbean Water and Wastewater
Association (CWWA) and is held every year as part of the CWWA’s Annual
Conference and Exhibition which takes place in various countries in the region.
